firebird3.0-common software package provides common files for firebird 3.0 server, client and utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install firebird3.0-common
firebird3.0-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the firebird3.0-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep firebird3.0-common *
You will get with firebird3.0-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
